AbstractThe PAD (Presentation-Assimilation-Discussion) classorganically integrates teaching and discussion, formingan innovative blended learning model that provides anew ideaand direction for optimizing the teachingof mechanics courses inuniversities.ThearticleisbasedonthetheoreticallogicofPADclass,analyzingthefeasibility of PAD class in the teaching of mechanics courses in universities,investigating the current application status and problems of split classroom,and exploring teaching reform strategies formechanics courses.Research and practice haveshownthatthroughthethree-stagedesignofteacherfocusedlectures,studentinternalization,andpeerdiscusions insegmented clasrooms,sudents'self-directedleaing awareness,problem-solvingability,anddeepconstructionof professional knowledgesystemscanbesignificantlyimproved,breakingthroughtheshacklesof traditional teaching and further enhancing teaching quality.
