Research Progress on Emerging Detection Technologies of Microplastics in Food

Abstract: The widespread use of plastic products has led to increasing microplastic pollution. These tiny particles not onlyharm theecological environment,but alsocan be passed on through the food chain and accumulate in the human body,posing potential health risks.This article analyzes the sources and hazards of microplastics in food, points outthe limitations of traditional detection methods,and focuses on introducing thethe advantages and potential applications of emerging detection technologies.These emerging detection technologies of microplastics will provide novel methods for food safety supervision and establish a scientific basis for reducing microplastic pollution risks.
