Analysis ofEpidemiological Characteristics of Foodborne Diseases in Zhangdian District, Zibo City from 2022 to 2024

Abstract: Objective:To analyze and understand the epidemic characteristics of foodborne diseases in Zhangdian district,Zibo city,Shandong province from 2022 to 2O24,and to provide a reference basis for the prevention and controloffoodborne diseases.Method: Foodborne diseasecases in Zhangdian district,Zibo city from 2O22 to 2024 in the foodbome disease case monitoring system ofthe National Center forFood Safety Risk Assessment werecollected as the research objects,and basic information such as food sources and procesing and packaging methods were statistically analyzed.Result: There werea total of 29334 cases of foodborne diseases in this region from 2022 to 2024,and the incidence of foodborne diseases was similar between men and women. People aged 19 to 40 and 4l to 65 are the most common group with the disease 29.62% 38.05% ). The incidence rate among farmers was the highest (35.60% ).In terms of food clasification,foodborne diseases caused by fruits and their products are the most common (21.28% ). Among the food processing and packaging methods, home-made packaging is the most common, causing an incidence rate of 43.25% .Conclusion: The incidence of foodborne diseases in Zhangdian district, Zibo city has ben relatively high in recent years.Farmers and workers are the main affected groups.It is necessary to strengthen case monitoring in this area and do a good job in prevention and control.
