Research on the Key Technical Characteristics of the Backward Three-Steps of Outstanding Male Pole Vaulters in China

Physical Science College,Hefei Normal University,Hefei, Anhui Province,23o6O1 China [Abstract] Objective:To analyze the technical characteristics of the backward three-step technique between outstanding male polevaulters in China and those inthe world,itcompares theiradvantagesanddiferences,and provides reference for optimizing training and improving technique.Methods:Using a high-speed camera at 3Oo frames per second, the parameters of Huang Bokai and Zhong Tao,two international athletes,whoatempted multiple jumps were recorded. TheSIMIMotion9.2Oanalysis system was used for digital processing,andthe dataof Huang Bokai and Zhong Tao's multiple jumpsatdiferentheights erecompareddomesticallyandinternationallyResults:Firstly,thetwooutstanding malepolevaulters in China showedsmall,bigandsmall gait withasignificantdiferenceinstridelength wasobvious. The diference ofstep length between backward step2 and backward step 1 was positive,whilethat of world-clas athletes is a negative number.There isasignificant difference in their take-offstyles compared to world-classathletes.
