[Abstract] Using research methods such as literature review，video observation，and mathematical statistics，this research analyzes the performance and results of male gymnastics finalists in various events at the Paris Olympics. The aim is to explore the development characteristics of male gymnastics events and the development trends of diffrent events，and provide reference for Chinese athletes to arange completesets of movements reasonably and improve their competitive strength.The results show that： Firstly，in the men's team event， China and Japan have mutual advantages.The Chinese team made too many major mistakes and lacked landing stability in the game，ultimately mising the championship; The Japanese team achieved a comeback and won the championship despite an unfavorable start; The American team performed welland won the third place. Secondly， the top eight all-around projects are monopolized by China，Japan，the United Kingdom，and Ukraine.Japaneseathlete Shinnosuke Oka won the championship with his outstanding performance of zero errors in six events; Chinese athlete Zhang Boheng made amajor mistake in the competition，while Xiao Ruotengalso had zero mistakes in the competition，but the overall difficulty was relatively low，and the two won second and third place respectively.Thirdly，in the finals of various individual event，a situationof fiercecompetition gradually emerged.
