AbstractThe educational philosophyofLyu Zuqian，a Neo Confucian scholarof the Southern Song Dynasty， is very classic，among which the practical educationconceptcenteredon "applying knowledge to the world" isaclearstreamof educational philosophy inthe Southern Song Dynasty.This concept emphasizes practical knowledge as the foundation of education，advocatesvaluingthe practical applicationofknowledge，and focuses oncultivating students' individual comprehensive abilities，which is highlycompatible with today's vocational education.Thearticle aims to explore Lyu Zuqian's practical education philosophy，achieve itscontemporary transformation，and explore its inspirationand significance for higher vocational education in the new era.
