AbstractVocational abilityorientationisanimportantconcept for vocational coleges to deepen teaching reform and improve thequalityof talent cultivation.Asa typical practical course，thecourse of mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance shouldclosely adhere to therequirements ofjob skils and promote the systematic reconstructionof course content，methods，andevaluation.Thearticleproposes thattheteachingreformofthiscourseshouldbebasedonjob skills and optimizethe content structure;Supported byreal-life situations，strengthen practical orientation;Using school enterprise collaborationasamechanism to expand thepath of education; Taking abilityevaluationas thecore，promoting students'sustainable development， comprehensively enhancing the fit between teaching and industry needs，and serving students' career growth goals.
