AbstractThis study focuses on college students，a group in urgent need of psychological attention，to explore how positive psychologicalqualities and self-compassion capabilitiesare interrelated and bidirectionally influencemental health. The results show： ① Positive psychological qualities can positively predict mental health; ② Individuals' selfcompassion levels can positively predict mental health; ③ Self-compassion levels and positive psychological qualities interact in predicting mental health.
