AbstractThe high-quality development of the tourism industry requires composite talents with both theoretical literacy and practical abilities.On the basis of clarifying the basic connotation and constraints of the collaborative improvementoftheoreticaland practicalabilitiesof tourism management students,thisarticle explores thesystematic path ofcollaborative improvement of theoreticaland practical abilitiesof tourism management students from four aspects:efficient interaction between classroom learning and practical teaching,matching of basic knowledge with cutting-edge hotspots,deep integrationof modular thematicand seminar based teaching,andorganic combinationof international perspective and local practice.
