AbstractTheMinistryofEducation，GuangdongProvince，GuangzhouCityandSouthChinaUniversityofTechnology jointlyestablishedtheSouth China Universityof Technology Guangzhou IntermationalCampus，focusingoncuting-edge disciplinesandaimingtocultivate leading talents innew engineeringdisciplines.Inorder toadapttotheconstructionofnew engineerngdisciplines，GuangzhouIntermationalCampushascariedoutcurrculumreforms inlinearalgebraandanalytic geometry.On the basis ofanalyzing the teaching content andcurrent situation of thiscourse，aswellas the important applicationof inear transformations inthefieldofnewenginering，thearticle proposes thatthe teachingoflinearalgebra andanalyticgeometryshouldattchimportancetolineartransformations.Finalythroughteachingdemonstrations，itis shown that teaching thiscourse with linear transformations as the mainline is not only necessrybut also feasible.
