Abstract：Intheeraofglobalization，technologyandindustryinvariouscountriesaredevelopingrapidly，economicand culturalexchangesarebecomingincreasinglyfrequent，andtheinternationalsituationisconstantlychanging，endowingnational universitieswiththegreatmissonofbuildingnewengineeingdisciplines.Theproposalofthenewengineeringconceptisthe needforthedevelopmentofChina’s"BeltandRoad"intitive，andalsoanimportantenginetopromoteglobaleconomicand socialdevelopment.Asoneofthenewengineringmajors，themajorofwatersuplyanddrainagescienceandenginering shouldersthesignifcantresponsibilityofsolvingthewatercrisisandbuildinganecologicalcivilizationsocietyTheEngishand bilingualteachingofthewaterscienceandenginering majorhasbecomeanimportantlinkinimprovingstudents’comprehensive qualityandexpandingtheirinternationalperspective.ThisarticleanalyzesthecurrentproblemsinprofesionalEnglishand bilingualteaching，andexplorestheteachingmodeofprofessonalEnglishandbilingualcoursesunderthebackgroundofnew enginerigfromtheperspetivesofourseroles，tetbooksteachngstaff，sessmentmethods，andsholenterprisepation inorderto provide useful reference for theintermational training of watersupplyanddrainageprofessionals.
