【Abstract】Thequalityof mechanical welding isof vital importance inautomobile manufacturing.Thearticle first elaboratesonitsroleinenhancing thestabilityofthevehicle bodystructure，improvingproductionefficiency， facilitating thelightweightingof automobiles，andachieving environmental protectionand energyconservation.Secondly， analyze the process types such as CO2 gas shielded welding，laser welding，laser hybrid welding，and laser remote welding，andexplore the influencing factors such as components，cracks，welding plierselectrodes，welding parameters，and the profesional level of personnel；Finall，targeted improvement strategiessuch asenhancing the professional levelofoperators，optimizing thewelding processandpre-welding technology，extending thearcstarting time，emphasizing thecleaningand inspectionof joints，and doingagood jobinenvironmental controlareproposed， aiming to providereferences fortheimprovementofautomotivequalityand industrial development，and promote the highquality development of the automotive manufacturing industry.
