【Abstract】As the core hub of vehicle control systems,ECU face challnges such as multi-sensor fusion,highreal-timedecision-making,and functional safetyredundancy,necessitating areevaluationof their technical boundaries andfunctionalroles.Ononehand,traditionaldistributedECUarchitecturesareconstrained bycomputationallimitations andcommunication delays,making itdificult to met theexponentialcomputational demandsof autonomousdriving algorithms.Ontheotherhand,thetrendtowardscentralizedvehicleEEAhasledtotheintegrationofdomaincontrollers andareacontrolers,placing higher demands on the hardware heterogeneity integration,software dynamic scheduling, andcross-domaincollborationcapabilitiesofECUs.Thisarticlesystematicallyexplores thefunctionalrestructuringpaths andtechnological innovationdirectionsforECUsinintellgentdriving,aiming toprovide theoreticalsupportand technicalreferencesfortheupgradeofautomotiveelectronicarchitecture,therebyfacilitatingbreakthroughsinintelligent driving technology and overcoming implementation bottlenecks.
