【Abstract】Thisarticle studies thedesignmethodsandcore technologiesof the differential gearforsmalltrucks.It combinesthephysicalandmechanicalcharacteristicsofthediferentialgearandthespecificrequirementsofvehicle enginering forthedifferentialgear，andtakesintoaccounttorquedistribution，loadcapacityand materialselection. Whiledesigning thediferentialgear，thestrengthcheckofthestructureisalsoconsidered.Bycalculatingthereliability strengthofthediferentialgear，themaximum torquethatthediferentialgearcanwithstandisobtained.Theintroduction ofanelectronic limited-slipdiferential gear improves thevehicle'sgriponslipperyroads，enhancingacertainlevelof safetyguaranteeforthecar.The2OCrMnTialoysteelwasfabricatedintoanintegratedforming materialfordierential gears through hotdiepressng.Through thedesignof thediferential gearofsmalltrucks，itprovidescertain technical supportanddesign theoreticalbasisfortheimprovementofthedesigntheoryand technologyof thecomponentsof the wheel differential gear system and the optimal design of the transmission of small vehicles.
