AbstractLocal undergraduateuniversities are limited by factors such as their level of education and management， resulting in slow progress in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship education，and a need to improve the quality of cultivating innovative applied talents.In response to the above issues，after three years of exploration and practice， the Schoolof Chemistryand Materials Engineering at Liupanshui Normal University has established a new model for cultivating innovative and applied talents in local undergraduate universities through "academic student clubs + （20 entrepreneurship workshops"，fully leveraging the inherent advantages ofacademic clubs incultivating innovationand entrepreneurship abilities.The new model is based on the practical problems of local development， promoting the active development of innovation and entrepreneurship education in local undergraduate universities，promoting the development of student associations and innovation and entrepreneurship education， and comprehensively improving the quality of talent cultivation.

據(jù)統(tǒng)計(jì)，截至2021年我國(guó)共有普通本科高校1238所，其中地方本科高校約占 57.56% ，地方本科高校已經(jīng)成為我國(guó)高等教育的重要組成部分，肩負(fù)著為地方經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)發(fā)展培養(yǎng)數(shù)量巨大的業(yè)務(wù)骨干和基層工作者的重任，其創(chuàng)新型人才培養(yǎng)質(zhì)量的優(yōu)劣不僅對(duì)地方社會(huì)經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展起著至關(guān)重要的作用，還深刻地影響著國(guó)家未來(lái)的創(chuàng)新發(fā)展[。（剩余5503字）
