Impacts of Modified BaiheDihuang Decoctionon the Severity of Insomnia in Elderly Patients with Mental

AbstractObjective：Investigationintotheimpacts of modified Baihe DihuangDecoctionontheseverityof insomniain elderly patientswithmentaldisorders.Methods：Atotalof9OgeratricpatientsdiagnosedwithmentaldisordersandinsomniaintheFifth People'sHospitalof Zibo CityfromOctober 2O22 to October2024 were selected assubjects forthisstudy.The patients wererandomized intotwo groups with45each，using theredand blueballmethod.Thecontrol groupreceivedstandard therapy，whereas theobservationgroup wasadministeredamodified versionoftheBaiheDihuang Decoction.The studycompared the pre-and posttreatmentsleepqualityandrelatedserum biomarkers betweenthetwogroups.Results：Folowing treatment，theISIand SDQ scores in the observation group were diminished compared to the control group（ P<0.05 ）.After intervention，the MT levels，serotonin，gamma-aminobutyricacid，andotherbiomarkersintheobservationgroupwerereducedcompared tothecontrolgroup（ P< 0.05）.Conclusion：ModifiedBaihe Dihuang Decoctioncansignificantly improve insomnia symptoms，reduce the levelsof serum 5-hydroxytryptamineandgamma-aminobutyricacid，andincreasethelevelofsrummelatonninelderlypatientswithmntaldisorders and insomnia.

失眠與焦慮、抑郁等精神癥狀相互交織，形成惡性循環(huán)，進一步加重老年精神障礙患者的病情[1]傳統(tǒng)的治療方法多采用西藥鎮(zhèn)靜催眠藥物，雖能在一定程度上緩解失眠癥狀，但長期使用往往伴隨著諸多不良反應(yīng)，如藥物依賴性、認(rèn)知功能損害、共濟失調(diào)等，增加了老年患者健康風(fēng)險[2]。（剩余4830字）
