[Abstract] Smart sports refers toa multidimensional collaborative system that integrates physical education teaching process management，sports performance data colection，student sports abilityevaluation，and personalized exercise prescriptiongeneration，relying oncuting-edge information technologysuchas Internetof Things，bigdata，cloud computing，artificial intellgence，tc.Itcanefectivelyenhancethesientific，targeted，andefient natureofthepublic physical education courses in collges and universities.However，at present， there are predicaments in public physical education teaching incoleges and universities，such as outdated teaching concepts，single teaching models，one-sided teaching evaluations and limited teaching resources.In response to the above problems，teachers should build an integrated teaching platform，reshape the teaching interaction mode，optimize the personalized teaching path，and upgrade the physical education teaching ecosystem. This will promote the systematic optimization and paradigm reconstruction of public physical education teaching，thereby enhancing the functional valueand educational eficiency of physical education courses in the talent cultivation system of colleges and universities.
