A Study on Geographical Location of the Hehuang Region in the Han and Tang Dynasties

Abstract：SincetheHanDynastyHehuangregionhasbenregardedasthewesterngateoftheCentralPlainsdynastiesandabffer zoneforfrequentiteractioetwenteCentralPlinsregiesndomadicfosPriortothTangDastyistoricaludsadgof Hehuang waslimitedtothebanksofHuangshuiRiver.IntheearlyTangDynasty，itwasextendedto theeasternstatesofLongyouCircuit. Inthe middleandlateTangDyastythedefiitionoftheHhuangregionbecameclearer，withtheHehuang Valleyintenorthastecore area，and the Heyuan area in the southwest and the Taohe River Basin in the southeast as the marginal areas.

我國河湟地區(qū)位于今天青海省東北部與甘肅省西南部，自西漢以來就有史書記載，而河湟地區(qū)屬于青海高原的一部分，其北通河西走廊，東連隴中高原，東南與川西高原相通，南接青南高原，西行由青海道西段的柴達木分道進入新疆南部，該地區(qū)恰好位于十字路口的位置，地理位置十分重要。（剩余5410字）
