Abstract：ObjectiveExplorethereasonablenessofStephaniatetrandrafreshprocesing，formulatethequalitystandardandpro cessing methodofRadix Stephaniae Tetrandraefresh procesing.Methods Studythequalitystandards，degreeof peeling，cuting standards，anddryingtemperatureofmedicialmaterialsforRadix StephaniaeTetrandrae，thepreparedslices wereevaluatedbytheindexessuchasharactersandcontentofativeingedients.ResultsTebstproceingtehnlogforStephaniatetrandraisafollows： Colecthroot medicinalmaterialsofRadix StephaniaeTetrandraewithroundlavesoffouryearsormore，scrapeoftheroughskinon the surface，cut them to a length of 3-9 cm，chop the thicker ones to 1-2 cm，and dry them in a 70‰ oven to obtain the optimal medicinalmaterialsforasyproductio.ConclusionTisprocessprovidesareliabletheoreticalbasisforthefreshprocessngofadix Stephaniae Tetrandrae，andthe methodis simple and easy tooperate，which is beneficial to popularizationand aplication.

防己為防己科（Menispermaceae）植物粉防己StephaniatetrandraS.Moore的干燥根，主產(chǎn)于浙江、安徽、湖北、湖南和江西等省，性狀多呈不規(guī)則圓柱形、半圓柱形或塊狀，多彎曲，表面淡灰黃色，在彎曲處常有深陷橫溝而成結節(jié)狀的瘤塊樣[1]。（剩余7078字）
