Establishment and Comparative study of HPLC Fingerprint of Onosma paniculatum and Onosma kunmingense

Abstract:ObjectiveEstablishtheHPLCfingerprintsofOnosmapaniculatumandOnosmakunmingense,andcomparethediferences between their fingerprints.Methods High performance liquid chromatography:TechMate PFP STV100A( 4.6mm×250 mm ×5μm );mobile phase A is 0.2% formic acid,mobile phase B is acetonitrile,gradient elution,flow rate is 1.0mL/min ,column temperature 35‰ ,and the analytical wavelength is 516nm . The TCM chromatographic fingerprint similarity evaluation system(2004 edition)wasusedtoestablishthefingerprint mapsofOnosmapaniculatumandOnosma kunmingense,calculatethesimilarity,andidenifythecommonpeak withthereferenceproduct.Results TheHPLCfingerprintofOnosma paniculatumshowed8commonpeaks, amongwhich6wereidentified.TheHPLCfingerprintofOnosmakunmingensealsocontained8commonpeaks,with5of themidentified.ThesimilaritybetweenOnosmapaniculatumandOnosmakunmingensewaslow.ConclusionTherearediferencesintheHPLC fingerprintsbetweenOnosmapaniculatumandOnosmakumingense.Thismethodissimpleandhasgoodreproducibilityhichcanbe used for the quality evaluation of Onosma paniculatum and Onosma kunmingense.
