Exploration on Project-based Teaching of Spoken English in Higher Vocational Colleges Based on the Concept of Deep Learning

AbstractWith the increasing diversification and internationalization ofsocial development，society has put forward higherrequirements for English talents.As themainbatlefield for cultivating applied talents，vocational colleges should ncrease thecultivation of students'oral abilityin English teaching.The article analyzes the concepts of deep learning and project-basedteaching methods，and proposes relevant implementationstrategies forEnglish oral teaching based onthe currnt situation. Using project-based teaching methods as a starting point， practical teaching efforts are increasedfrom various aspects ofteaching，and theadvantages ofexisting teaching resources are fulyutilized to design learning activities that meet students' needs，truly achieving the teaching goals of deep learning.
