TheTrendofCharacteristicDatabase Construction in Double First-ClassUniversity Libraries

Abstract42double first-classuniversities inChina have builtatotalof369characteristicdatabases.Research has foundthatoverone-thirdof thecharacteristic databases ofdouble first-class universities havereceived fundingand guidance from CALIS and CADAL during their construction; In recent years, more than half of the double first-class university libraries have built institutional knowledge bases based onthe conceptof opennessand sharing.In the constructionofcharacteristic databases in the libraries of double first-classuniversities,there has beenanew trendof building data platforms,applying digital humanities methods,and actively carrying out cooperativeconstruction. Libraries are more actively integrating and participating in the school's double first-class construction. At the same time,there are stillproblems with theconstructionofcharacteristic databases inthe libraries ofdouble first-class universities,such as the lack of improvement in public accessibilityand insufficient comprehensive and in-depth resource organization.
