Changes in the expression of glucagon-like peptide-1 and α -synuclein in the pancreas of A53T mice XU Haina,CHEN Xi (School of Basic Medicine,Qingdao University,Qingdao ,China)
[Abstract] Objective To investigate the changes in the expression of α? synuclein ( α? Syn) and glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP1)in the pancreas of A53T transgenic mice. MethodsA53T mice and wild-type(WT) mice,aged 6 months,were selected and their pancreatic tissue was collected. Western blotting was used to measure the protein expressionlevels of GLP-1 and α Syn in pancreatic tissue,and immunofluorescence assay was used to observe the localization of GLP-l and α Syn in pancreatic tissue. Re 1 sultsWesternblottingshowedthattherewas nosignificant diferenceintheexpressionlevelofGLP-1inpancreatictissuebetween A53T mice and WT mice ( P>0.05 . Immunofluorescence assay showed that GLP-1 and α -Syn were co-localized in pancreatic α cells,and compared with WT mice,A53T mice had a significantly higher expression level of α -Syn in pancreatic tissue ( Φt= 4.620,P<0.01) .ConclusionIn the pancreatic tissue of A53T mice, α Syn is co-expressed with GLP-1 in α -cells,and there is a significant increase in the expression level of α -Syn.
