Abstract：Socialism with Chinesecharacteristicshasenteredanewera，and China’sonlinepublicopinionhasgraduallchanged itsturbulentrend，movingtowardsastabledirection.Thereasonhyonlinepublicopinionhasturnedsofarismainlyduetoefolowingthreereasons：hegoverment’sstronggoverancehasreducedtheintensityofolinepublicopiion；Weiboparticipationgavewayto WeChatparticipation，coolingdowntheheatofolinepublicopinion；Thesurgeinparticipationinonlinecommunitishasweakenedthe strengthofonlinepublicopinion.ThegradualeasingofonlinepublicopinionhasreducedthepresureongovermentonlinepublicopinionandlarfedtelinepublicpinioeologyOnthetherhand，itsalsoggavatedthepopulismextremism，teraint， andvulgarizationofonlinepublicopiniontoacertainextent，weakenedthepositivepolicalfunctionofonlinemedia，andincreasedthe difficulty and cost of the government to accurately grasp online public opinion .
