AbstractUniversity teachers are the main bodyofteaching,scientific research,and social services inuniversities, andtheir moral standards directlyaect the important effectivenessof the "foundation"of moral educationand talent cultivation in Chinese universities.In order tocomprehensively grasp the current status,hot topics,and evolutionary trends ofresearch on teacher ethics in Chinese universities,this article uses bibliometrics and CiteSpace software to conduct visual knowledge graph analysis ofauthors,institutions,andkeywords of472articles included incore journals of Peking University and CSSCI inthe CNKI database from 1994 to 2023.Research has found that the hot topics in the studyof teacherethics inuniversities mainlyinclude teacher ethics construction,teacher ethics and style,teacher ethics evaluation,and incentive mechanisms.Atthe same time,the construction of teacher ethics in universities is greatly influenced by policies,and future research should be based onthe evaluationand measurementof teacher ethics in universities in the new era.
