Abstract:Thispaper takesthe exhaustgas turbochargerastheresearch object,mainlytaking theCummins NTA855diesel engineusedinacertaintypeofcraftasanexample,introducesthestructureandworking principleoftheexhaustgas turbocharger.Combinedwiththefaulttreediagrammechanism,thetypicalfaultsthatoccrduringitsworkingprocessare analyzed,andissesrelatedtousemanagementandmaintenancearediscussdbasedoncases,inordertoimprovetheuse efficiency of ship diesel engines.
