AbstractReading plays an important role in primary school Chinese language teaching,as students can accumulate morelanguage knowledge and master more writing methods and skils through reading. The article studies the methods of "doing" and "not doing" in implementing primary school Chinese reading teaching centered on "learning". By creating an open reading environment, implementing layered teaching, and conducting group cooperative learning activities,students' learning enthusiasm is stimulated,and their learning efficiency is eectively improved.
