AbstractIn the teaching processofmaterials mechanics，students arestillunable to solve complex problems such as thestabilityofcomposite membersanddynamicload problems.Thearticleanalogizes therodwiththespring familiarto studentsthroughexamples，anduses thespringmodeltosolveandanalyzetheenergydistributionproblemoftherodunder impactloadusingtheenergy method.Thisnotonlyhelps studentsto haveadeeperunderstandingofcomplex impact problems in material mechanics，butalsohascertain teaching significance forstudents totrytoestablish simplified mechanical models to analyze and solve impact problems in engineering.
