Abstract：TheSt.PetersburgbranchoftheArchivesoftheRussianAcademyofScienceshousesthearchivalmaterialsof theRussianCommiteeforthestudyofCentralandEasternAsia（henceforthrefered toasthe“RussianCommitee”forshort） undertheheainsofticalological，nsticdgpicaterial.ddintentsofti are various materials gatheredfromtheRussian Commitee'sresearchactivities innorthwest China.This paperfals into four parts，whichrespectivelydescribe： theRuian Commitee’scollectionofculturalrelicsand manuscripts fromnorthwest China; theassistanceprovidedbytheRussianCommiteetotheGerman Turpan expeditions;Malov's expeditionactivities innorthwest China， and; the archives written during Oldenburg's expedition to Dunhuang.
