Strategies for Cultivating the Lesson Presentation Ability of
Preschool Education Students in Higher Vocational Institutions

Abstract:Lesson presentation is an essential professional competency for kindergarten teachers and an effective pathway for promoting their professional development.Cultivating the lesson presentation ability of preschool education students in higher vocational institutions during their pre-service phase is crucial,as it facilitates the consolidation and application of professional theoretical knowledge,enhances understanding of guiding documents in preschool education,and improves students’ awareness and capability in activity design.However,common issues in lesson presentations among vocational students include mechanical recitation of lesson plans,incomplete coverage of presentation elements,simplistic application of theories,and arbitrary use of methods.Higher vocational institutions should explore a synergistic approach integrating the first and second classrooms.The first classroom should leverage pedagogy courses,microteaching,and other skill-training programs to promote development through multiple channels,while the second classroom should utilize practical training,student societies,and competitions to advance diverse activities,thereby comprehensively fostering the lesson presentation ability of preschool education students.
