Application of Project-Driven Teaching Model in the Course of
“Fundamentals of Information Technology”

Abstract:The course “Fundamentals of Information Technology” is a compulsory subject for non-computer majors in vocational colleges,designed to develop students’ abilities to apply information technology tools to solve practical problems.This study begins by analyzing the current teaching status of the “Fundamentals of Information Technology” course,exploring the necessity and feasibility of implementing a project-driven teaching model.Through empirical teaching practice,the study evaluates the effectiveness of the project-driven teaching model in the instruction of this course at vocational colleges.Furthermore,it summarizes the challenges encountered during the implementation of this model and proposes corresponding solutions.
