Abstract：Theconstructionofasports-powerfulcountryisthegoalandtaskofthereformanddevelopment of China’ssportswork in the newera.The Wenzhou Dragon Boat Project，asanimportant achievementinthe process of building a sports-powerful country，provides a crucial path for promoting the construction of China'ssponts-powerfulcountry.This paper expounds on theorigin and development of Wenzhou Dragon Boat Racefromtwoaspects：itshistorical evolution andmderndevelopment.It analyzes thecharacteristics of the dragonboatrace fromtheperspectivesof regionality，fitnessandtheimplementationof therace.Italso deeplyexploresthe promotional significanceof the dragonboat race innational fitness，economic development，and the developmentof folk sports，and proposes developmentstrategies forthe Wenzhou DragonBoat Race.
