Breedingof a new dried pepper cultivar Ganjiao 101

Abstract:Ganjiao 101 isanewdried pepper F1 hybrid,developed by crossing the excellent inbred line P83as female parent and the high-generation inbred line P22 as male parent.The average plant height and width is 70cm and 68cm the firstflowerinitiationnodeisaround11,mid-earlymaturingvariety.Thefruit issheep-hornshape,redoldmature fruit. Theaverage longitudinal diameter of the fruit is 14.5cm ,the transverse diameter of 3.0cm ,the flesh thickness of about 0.18cm ,and the average single fruit mass is 26.2g ,The soluble solids content of 11.4% ,vitamin C content of 121.0mg?100g-1 ,and total capsaicin content of 59.3mg?kg-1 ,protein content of 2.92g?100g-1 ,soluble sugar content of 5.0g?100g-1 .It is resistance to epidemicsandCMV,moderatelyresistance toTMVandanthrancnose.Theyieldof dried pepper is about 522kg per 667m2 ,which is suitable for planting in Lanzhou, Jinchang, and Jiuquan of Gansu province, Urumqi in Xinjiang,Bayannur in InnerMongolia.
