Analysis of the Causes of High Algal Water in Lake and Reservoir and Study on the Response Strategies of Water Treatment Plants

Abstract:ManylakesandreservoirsinChinaarefacing varyingdegreesofalgae polution.Whenthealgaecontent is too highandformshighalgaewater,itwillposeaseriouschallngetodrinking watersafety.Detailedanalysiswasconductedon theinfluencingfactorsthatinducethegenerationofhighalgaewaterinlakesandreservoirs,includingbasicconditionssuch astemperature,utrients,andlight,asellashdrauliconditionssuchasflowvelocityturbulene,shearstress,dwater retentiontime.Atthesame time,thecurrent processesadoptedby water purification plants for treating highalgae water, suchas physical,chemical,andbiologicalmethods,weresummarized,andtheadvantagesanddisadvantagesofrelted processes wereanalyzed.Intended toprovide strong technical supportandreference basis foroptimizing high algae water treatmentschemesandefectivelyensuringwatersafety,andtoasistinthedevelopmentndimprovementofdrinkingater safety assurance.
