Analysis of Spatial and Temporal Variation Characteristics of Land Use in Southwestern Guangxi Based on Geoscience Information Map

Abstract:Taking thesouthwesternregion ofGuangxiasan example,analyzing the spatiotemporal changes in land use basedongeographicinformation technologycanprovideabasis fortherationalutilizationand protectionoflandresources intheregion.Basedonlandusedata from20O0 to 2O2O,theGeographic Information System(GIS)technology isapplied to analyzethe spatiotemporal evolution characteristicsofland usein southwestern Guangxi from 200 to2O2O using landuse dynamics,transfermaps,andfluctuationmaps.Thelandusetype insouthwestern Guangxiismainlyforestland,accounting for more than 5 5 % of the total area,followed by arable land.Since 2OOo,the forest area in southwestern Guangxi has graduallydecreased,whiletheconstructionlandandwaterareahavegraduallexpanded.Therearetemporaldierences inthe dynamicdegreeof grasslandandarablelanduse,butthefrequencyofarablelandareachanges is relativelysmall. In the land usechange patern map,theunit with the largest landarea is the stable mapunit,andthe proportionarea of theprevious change mapis thesmalest.Inthefluctuationchartanalysis,from2OOto2010,theareaofcultivated land expanded the most ( 3 9 . 4 % ) ,and the area of forestland decreased the most ( 5 1 . 4 % ) ; from 2010 to 2020,the expansion of forest land area was the largest ( 3 7 % ) ;from 2O1O to 2O2O,although the rate of reduction in forest land area was slow,it still accounted for the largest proportion,accounting for 4 3 . 1 6 % of the total change area.
