Spatio-temporal differentiationcharacteristics and influencing factors of resilience of Chinese tourism cities

Abstract：Basedonthe paneldata from46Chinese tourismcities spanning 20o9 to 20l9，this study employs the entropyvalue methodto measure tourismcityresilience levels，andthecoeffcientof variationmethodtoanalyze their spatio-temporaldiferentiationcharacteristics.Meanwhile，geo-detectorsareusedfortheanalysisofthefactorsffecting thetourismcityresilience.The studyshows that：First，theoverallevelofresilienceoftourismcitiesshowsanupward trend.From the perspectiveof the subsystems of tourism cityresilience，the developmentof ecologicalresilience and culturalresilienceshowsadownwardtrend，economicresilienceandsocialresilienceshowa“U"trend，andinfrastructure resilience shows aninverted“U"trend.Second，fromthe perspectiveof spatial dimension，the temporal and spatial diferences intheresilienelevelsoftourismcitiesintheeastern，centralandwesternregionsaresignificant，showing the distribution pattern of“eastern region > western region > central region”，with a large number of tourism cities having mediumand lowresilience levels.Third，fromtheperspectiveof influencing factors，thedominant factors influencing the spatialdiferentiationofthetourismcityresiliencevaryindiffrent periods，andthespatialdifferentiationof the tourismcityresilience isnotdrivenbyasingle infuencing factor，butratherthantheresultof theinteractionofmultiple factors.Basedontheaboveconclusions，itissuggestedtoomprehensivelyenhance theresiliencelevelsoftourismcities. According thedevelopmentcharacteristicsoftheresiliencelevelsofdifferenttourismcities，diferentpromotionstrategies should beadopted.Thoughaflexible implementationmechanismcombing themarketand the government，theresilience of tourism cities should be enhanced to promote the high-quality development of cities in China.
