Abstract: [Purposes] This paper systematically investigates the blue luminescence characteristics of

Tm3+ doped BaSiO and explores its potential application in anti-counterfeiting markers.[Methods] A se3

ries of BaSiO3:x% Tm 3+ samples were synthesized via high-temperature solid-state method and character

ized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and photoluminescence spectroscopy.[Findings] Experimental results

demonstrate that Tm3+ ions preferentially occupy Ba2+ sites and exhibit intense blue luminescence under

the excitation of 357 nm wavelength,corresponding to the energy level transition between 'D2→F4.

Through systematic concentration optimization, the optimal doping concentration of Tm 3+ in BaSiO is de3

termined to be 0.5% .Further analysis reveals that the main mechanism leading to the concentration

quenching of Tm3+ ions electric dipole-dipole interaction.[Conclusions] TM ?3+ doped BaSiO exhibits ex3

cellent application potential in anti-counterfeiting markers and lighting fields due to its outstanding lu

minescent properties.
