Abstract:[Purposes] Lightweight ceramic aggregates are adopted as coarse aggregates to reduce the selfweight of conventional cement concrete structures.Basalt fibers are incorporated into ceramic aggregate concrete to improve its mechanical and durability properties,thereby extending theservice life of concrete structures.[Methods] Based on basalt fiber volume factions of 0% , 1% , 2% , 3% ,and 4 4% ,mix design, mechanical and durability performance research were carried out on ceramic aggregate cement concrete. [Findings] From the perspective of mechanics and durability,when the volume fraction of basalt fibers reaches 3% ,the concrete structure demonstrates optimal overall performance in compressive strength, flexural strength,and sulfate attack resistance.[Conclusions] A appropriate volume fraction of basalt fibers can improve both the mechanical and durability properties of ceramic aggregate concrete.
