Automatic identification method of structural statistical energy analysis subsystem

Abstract:Statisticalenergyanalysis(SEA)isawidelyusedmethodforanalyzingthehighfrequencydynamicresponseofmechani cal structurs.Thereasonabledivisionofsubsystemsisoneof tecriticalbasisesforSEA.Inthispaper,anautomaticidentification methodof SEAsubsystembasedonorderreduced modalenergydensityandhierarchicalclusteranalysis isdeveloped.First,the structuralmodalenergydensitiesinthehigh-frequencybandareobtainedthroughthediscretefiniteelementmodel.Then,themain featuresofthemodalenergiesareextractedthroughtheproperorthogonaldecomposition.Thesimilarityofthemodalenergydensitybetweendiferentelementsisanalyzdbyhierarchicalclusteranalysis.Finall,thenumberofstatisticaleergyanalysisubsy temsandthecorespondingstructuralelementsareidentified.TheTshapedplates,Ishaped plates,ndenginecombustioncham beraretaken as simulationmodels toverifytheefectiveness of theproposed method.Simulationresults show thatthecouplingre lationshipbetweencomponents,thenumberofsubsystems,andcorespondingelementscanbeautomaticallyidentifiedbyhepro posed method.Then,the SEA model can be established efciently and accurately.
