Abstract:Withthe adventofAgriculture 4.0,flue-cured tobaccocultivation is moving towards thedevelopmentof smart agriculture.Asakeytoolinsmartagriculture,unmannedaerialvehicle(UAV)multispectralimaging technologyhasshown significantpotentialinthe managementoftobaccofields.ThewidespreaduseoftheDJPhantom4Multispectral (P4M)dronein China,inparticular,haslaidasoldfoundationfortheapplicationof tistehnologyitobaccoindustry.Herewesystematically reviewtheapplicationofUAVmultispectralimaging technologyinthesmartmanagementoffue-curedtobaccofields,including monitoringof plantingareaandgrowth,yieldandleafqualityprediction,nutritionaldiagnosisandfertilization,soilmoisture monitoring,andpestanddiseasepredictionThesetechnologicalapproachescansgnificantlyehancethesmartfieldmanagementof tobaccoproduction,optimizingresourceusageandimprovingyieldandqualityHowever,chalengessuchashightchicalcosts, complex dataprocessng,andalackofstandardedoperatingproceduresrmaininpracticalaplicationFurthreseach isrired to address these issues.
