Abstract：Thegovermanceofoldurbanresidentialcommunitiesisrelatedtotherealizationofresidents’yearningforabeterlife， themodemizationofgarotsgoverance，ndthealizationofCinsestyleoderaioIntecuentgovernancfdsid tialcomunities，therearestillmanypredicaments，suchasbackwardifrastructureandanusaisfctorylivingenviroenteresidents haveacomplexstructureanddiverseinterestsanddemands，lack of goverancesubjects，andlowgovernancelevel.Drawingonthe experiencesandpracticesofvariousrgions，pehapsthegoverancepredicamentofoldresidentialcommunitiescanberesolvedthrough thefolowingwas：suchsstrengteningtheladingoleofthPartyrganationingoverance，hancingtheonsructionofdiesifiedcommunitygovernanceteams，innovatingthecommunitygovernancesystem，andimprovingthecommunityserviceworkingmechanism.
