Abstract: Accelerating the promotion of enterprise digital technology innovation is an important path for enterprises to climb the value chain to high value-added links,based on the data of China’s A-share listed companies from 2012 to 2O22,the fixed-effct model and the moderating effct model were used to empirically test the impact of digital technology innovation on enterprise value chain upgrading and the moderating role of executive ownership ratio.It is found that digital technology innovation can significantly promote the upgrading of enterprise value chain, and the proportion of executive ownership positively moderates the positive effect of digital technology innovation on the upgrading of enterprise value chain.Through the heterogeneity analysis,it is found that there is firm size heterogeneity and technology activity heterogeneity in the promotion effect of digital technology innovation on enterprise value chain upgrading.The heterogeneity analysis of firm size shows that the promotion effect of digital technology innovation on the upgrading of enterprise value chain is more obvious in small and mediumsized enterprises,but less obvious in large enterprises. The results of technology activity heterogeneity analysis show that the promotion effect of digital technology innovation on the upgrading of enterprise value chain is more significant in the enterprises with higher technology activity.This study not only enriches relevant literature in the field of influencing factors of enterprise value chain upgrading, but also provides theoretical support and policy suggestions for promoting enterprise value chain upgrading, which is conducive to promoting enterprise value chain upgrading through digital technology innovation in the future,and thus improving enterprises’ competitive advantages in the market.
