Abstract:ToinvestigatetheimpactofsowloadspecificationsinGB51022—2O15*TechnicalSpecificationforStelStructure of Light-weight Buildings with Gabled Frames and NF EN 1991-1-3:2004-General actions - Snow loads * on gabled frame structures,this studyconductedparameter comparisons between the codesand established Midas Gen models for enginering casesreinforcedviastructural system modificationandbonded steelreinforcementmethods.Stressratios,stability, deflection,andothermechanicalindicatorsunderbothspecificationswerecomparedandvalidatedthrough finiteelement modeling.Resultsindicate:theChinesecodeemploysarelativelysimplifiedsnowloadcalculationmethod,withpartial parametersandrofsnowdistributioncoeffcientsdiferingfromthe Europeancode.Finiteelementanalysisrevealsthatthe Chinese code yieldsgenerall highersnow loadvaluesand mechanical parameterresults,particularlydemonstratinggreater conservatism in uneven snow distribution scenarios,while the European code produces smaler calculation resultsoveral.
