Abstract:Throughpushovertests,thisstudyinvestigatesthecrackpropagationpaterns,plastichingedistribution characteristics,and energy dissipation mechanisms ofconcrete members with hybridGFRPbar-steel bar stepped configurations underload,aiming toexplore theseismic performanceofGFRP-reinforcedconcretecompositestructures.Theresultsshowthat thehigh strengthandlowelastic moduluscharacteristicsof GFRPbarscombinedwiththeductiltyadvantagesofstelbarscan promote theformationof multiplecontrolableplasticzones inthe members,andthe hierarchical evolutionof multiple plastic zoneseffectivelydelaysthedegradationof structural stiffess,themulti-levelyieldmechanismof themembersisstableunder strongearthquake.Theformationof multipleplastic zones inconcretememberscanbeefectivelyregulatedbythestrategyof Cascade cooperativereinforcementofGFRPbarsand steelbars,andthe lengthandreinforcementparametersof thecascadecan be reasonably controlled,it can increase the seismic performance of the cascade GFRP Bars + reinforced concrete members. Thisreveals theenancementpathof cascadereinforcementonthemechanical propertiesofconcretemembers,and providesan important reference value for the improvement of the seismic theory system of new composite structures.
