A Research on the English Translation Norms for Henan Cuisine Dish Names

Abstract：TheamingofHenancuisinecanbecategorizedintotwapproahes：literalrepresentationandartisticexpressnToalign withthecharacteristicsofHenancusine，translationmethodsshouldcombineliteraltranslation，freetranslation，andotherteciques whileensuringauracyiinformation ransmision.Specifically，hetranslationofHenancuisinedishnamesmayadoptthefolowing strategies：begiingwiththeainingredient，folowdbysupplementaryingredients，saucs，orcodiments；leadingithcooinget ods，folowedbyainingedients；higlightingsapeortexture，folledbyngredients；efereningtheatorrplaceofoiginfol lowedbythemainingredientordishname.TheHenanProvincePublicServceSectorEnglishTranslationReference（ialImpleetation） （2019）containstwocriticalisues：MistranslationsduetoinsufcentunderstandingofHenancusine，whichsouldbeadreedbys lectingappropriatetraslatiomethodsbsedonatoroughuderstandingofdisompositionprepaatontchques，anddistictieeatures；inconsistencisithger-lvelstadards，suchsatioalgdelins.Strictderencetoeelevantnatioaladardsisipe ative.Fordisswitellknoforeinaes，raslatiosustlnititeatioallycogdEnglisovetiostosueglo al comprehensibility.
