This article takes eight-leaf folding screen engraved with Painting of Sea Mountain and Fairy Residence as the research object. With reference to black-lacquer gold-outlined furniture shown in the imperial palace paintings of the Qing Dynasty， this article probes into the characteristics and development process of gold outlining technology.On this basis， this article focuses on the artistic expression of eight-leaf folding screen engraved with Painting of Sea Mountain and Fairy Residence， and explains the artistic value and connotation of this screen painting and black-lacquer gold outlining technology.
