In 2007， on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Henan Museum， after careful selection and scientific argumentation by relevant experts and scholars， “Nine Top Treasures of Henan Museum”were grandly publicized， which have been widely known ever since. Among these nine national treasures， the earliest one dates back to about 9000 years ago， and the latest one is about 900 years old. They are famous for outstanding and rare historical， scientific and artistic values. What's more， they represent the Central Plains culture which flourished and culminated for several times in the past nine thousand years.These treasures respectively witness the unbroken Chinese culture context in all important historical periods in the course of Chinese civilization for five thousand years.
