檔案術(shù)語(yǔ)對(duì)應(yīng)詞record和records的概念與運(yùn)用再探

摘  要：檔案術(shù)語(yǔ)record和records的內(nèi)涵和譯法長(zhǎng)期以來(lái)是檔案界關(guān)注和討論的焦點(diǎn)之一。本文從record和records的詞源、定義和內(nèi)涵入手，分析國(guó)內(nèi)該術(shù)語(yǔ)存在的譯名爭(zhēng)議背后的原因，從中外檔案管理工作的本質(zhì)出發(fā)，提出record和records的具體譯名應(yīng)結(jié)合實(shí)際語(yǔ)境而定。

Abstract： The connotation and translation of ‘record’ and ‘records’， two terms of archival science， have been the focus of attention and discussion among professionals and scholars in archival field for a long time. This paper analyzes the origin， definition and connotation of record and records， and discusses reasons behind various Chinese versions of these two terms. Bearing the nature of archives management in mind， the author attempts to propose that the translation of these two terms should be determined by the context.
