Abstract:To perform a microscale analysis onrecycled concrete under high confinement presure,an improved concrete damage plasticity model wasapliedto finiteelement software.Afive-phase randomaggegate modelwasestablished using Pythontoinvestigatethe stress-straincurveand damagefailure morphologyofconcreteunder3,15,and24 MPaconfinement presures withdiferentreplacementrates ofrecycledcoarseagregates.Theresultsshowthattheaccuracyofthis material model is muchhigherthanthatoftraditional models,andits stress-straincurvedevelopment rendandresultsarebasicallythesame as the experimental values,with a maximum difference of no more than 10% ;This method can effectively simulate the mechanical properties ofconcrete under confinement pressure,when the confinement pressreis low,therearemorefailure cracksintheconcrete.Whentheconfinementpressureis high,thereare moreinitial cracksintheconcrete,butultimately only one failure crack will form.
