Development and Design of Vacuum High Pressure Casting for Magnesium Ally Automobile Wheels
Abstract:Inthemodernautomobileidustrywiththeincreasingrequirementsforligtweightandfueleconomymagnesiuloy asalightweightmaterialwithexcelentperformance,hasbeenpaidmoreandmoreatentionbytheindustryMagnesiumalloyhas thecharacteriticsoflowdensityhighstrengthandgoodprocessingperformance,soitsshowngreatdevelopmentpottial in thefieldofautomobilemanufacturing,especiallitheaplicationofautomobilewheels.Inthispaper,thvacuumhgpssure castingtechnolgofmagnesiumaloyautomobilehelisdiscusseddeeply.Byanalyzingtecharacteristicsofmagnesiumloyte processprincipleandfowofvacumigpressurecasting,temagnesumaloyheelisesignedtomeetthespecificperfoance requirements.
